Welder and Fabricator:

Job Overview:

Constructs or repairs metal products by joining parts using a variety of welding methods, applicant should be able to weld a range of metals (e.g. mild steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum, copper, and brass).

He has to perform the following tasks:

  • examine detailed drawings or specifications to find out job, material and equipment requirements
  • cut, roll, shape, bend, mould, spin, heat or hammer metal products to fabricate parts or sub-assemblies
  • heat treat metal parts and components
  • set up and/or operate hand and machine tools, welding equipment or computer numerically controlled (CNC) machines
  • assemble parts and structures by lining up and joining them by welding, bolting or riveting

Job Requirements:

  • Certificate degree and qualified.
  • Five years Experience in same working field.
  • Professional in arc welding.
  • Experience 3 G and 6 G -TIG and MIG welding.
  • Good communicator in English language.
  • strength to handle materials, tools and machines
  • Skillful in reading drawings, blueprints, diagrams, or work orders in preparation for welding or cutting metal components.
  • good hand-eye coordination
  • able to work in a team

Mechanical Maintenance Fitter

Job Overview:

Fitting and assembling parts and sub-assemblies made from metal and other materials to make production machinery and other equipment. The work has to be divided into three main areas - marking out work to be done, assembling and installing machines, and maintaining and repairing them.

Drilling, Tapping, Boring, Removing and fixing any kind of gear box, Water pump, Machinery for Mechanical field and D/E work.

He should shrink-fit parts during assembly, repair and fault-find hydraulic and pneumatic equipments; inspect machinery and make the necessary repairs on- site or off-site.

Job Requirements:

  • mark the shape and dimensions of a part to be machined by studying blueprints and using measuring instruments;
  • assemble and fit machined parts using drill holes and tap threads, if necessary, for bolting parts together;
  • check tightness of joints and operation of moving parts, and file or chisel parts to make final adjustments if the fit is not perfect;
  • cut, thread, bend and install hydraulic and pneumatic pipes and lines
  • • clean and lubricate assembled articles;
  • shrink-fit parts during assembly using oxy-acetylene torches and presses, dry ice and carbon dioxide freezing;
  • manufacture, repair and fault-find hydraulic and pneumatic equipment;
  • operate powered machines that may be manually or computer controlled;
  • erect machinery and equipment on site;
  • Inspect machinery regularly and make any adjustments or repairs needed by removing any worn or damaged parts to install replacements, by sending a damaged part to the machine shop for repair or by doing the repair work themselves.
